    Wish Musical Theater Camp! A Wish Worth Making! We will choose our characters, learn music and choreography from Wish and create our own musical!   • June Camp: Spanish Summer Camp: Spanish Summer Camp: ¡Vamos a Imaginar! “Let’s imagine!” (Grades: 1-5)

    In this thrilling summer camp, students will use their imagination and learn Spanish vocabulary related to their favorite themes~ superheroes, princesses, magic, dinosaurs, mermaids, unicorns, and more! Each class students will explore age-appropriate adventures– All in Spanish! Basic conversation and Spanish vocabulary such as colors and counting will be incorporated to build on their skills each week. Class will include interactive activities learning Spanish vocabulary and practical conversation elements. Join us on a magical adventure!     Water Safety Aide (June 10-13) (Ages: 13+)

    A class for those interested in assisting swim instructors emphasizing lesson levels and proper teaching techniques. A great class for students ages 13 and up who love water, enjoy working with children, and are considering seeking future employment as a Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard (WSI/LG). There will be an opportunity after completion of this session to volunteer and get hands-on experience during our summer swim lessons. Students who complete this course can continue to volunteer in our aquatics program to build their skills and resume for future job opportunities in the aquatics field.     197 Driver's Education In-Person at TRHS Summer Classes

    Our Driver’s Education program is offered in partnership with A+ Driving School. The course is approved by the State of Minnesota and meets all requirements for training anyone under the age of 18. The course fee includes: 30 hours of classroom instruction Six hours of behind the wheel instruction. Participants missing a class must wait for the next session to make up missed time on the same day that was missed. For example if you miss day 3, you must make up day 3 to ensure the topic you missed is covered. You will be notified if you are moved into a class and your credit card charged. Learn to enjoy the water safely with your child. For ages 6 to 36 months accompanied by a parent or guardian in the water. Parents and children learn together with fun activities to increase a child's comfort level in the water and build a foundation of basic skills, such as arm and leg movements, breath control as well as water safety. Water diapers are required for infants and toddlers who aren't trained. Course format: Classes run 30 minutes with 6 parent/child pairs per instructor.

    197 Virtual: District 197 Summer Driver's Education

    Our Driver’s Education program is offered in partnership with A+ Driving School. The course is approved by the State of Minnesota and meets all requirements for training anyone under the age of 18. The course fee includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind the wheel instruction. For the virtual classroom series, you must attend by logging in to the live broadcast at class time each day on a device that has the ability to be seen as well as heard for the entire class time. Please provide participant's email address during the registration process to send the meeting invite. This email needs to be accessible from the device being used. Participants missing class must wait for the next session to make up missed time--you must make up the same day that missed, for example of you missed day 3 of class you must make up day 3 of the next session.     Learn to swim in a class customized just for you! This is a private 30-minute session with your child to work on water safety, stroke enhancement or specific skills that need work. This is a great option for children that need the extra one-on-one time with an instructor.
  • Summer Jazz at TRHS (Grades: 6-12)

    Join us for a Summer Jazz class--open to incoming 6-12th graders Fall of 2024! Students in Summer Jazz will play jazz classics as well as contemporary jazz tunes. It is open to any Fall 2024 incoming 6th-12th grade student who plays saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, drum set, electric guitar, or vibraphone. There will be 1-2 off-site performance opportunities that will be optional. The summer session will conclude with a concert open to the public.   • Warriors Speed and Agility Camp (Grades: 6-9)

    This 4-day camp is offered to 6th-9th graders regardless of sport and skill level. SAQ (Speed, Agility, and Quickness) is a system of training aimed at the development of motor abilities and the control of body movement through the development of the neuromuscular system. It aims to improve the athlete's ability to perform many multi-directional movements by progressively breaking down the key movements around the most efficient way to gain speed & change direction/quickness. Camp Director, Tyrell Martin, is a Two Rivers Alum, and past Varsity Football & Wrestling coach at Two Rivers HS. He also is the business owner of an athletic development company. “My mission is to motivate and inspire others to reach and exceed the attainable goals in their sport. To remind athletes that true motivation & drive comes from inside yourself. That you can look at a challenge and smile. I want to help you improve, whether that’s from going from the bench to a starter, high school athlete to collegiate athlete, or even collegiate to professional.”

    Warrior Track & Field Camp Join The Warrior Track and Field Coaches and Athletes for a fun, energizing week at their new track and field facility! We will keep your young track star moving, improving and building confidence as they run, jump and throw all week long. Age appropriate instruction developed by the varsity coaching staff. Coaches will be at camp to lead the way. High school athletes will assist coaches and campers and help make the week fun and memorable. We can't wait to meet your track and field star! Description of camp: 5-8 Track & Field Camp will focus on learning more about the sport of track and field by working with high school coaches and athletes. Middle schoolers will participate in games and track & field drills focused on building speed, strength and agility. They will also spend time practicing the proper technique for field events, learn about relay exchanges and how to use the starting blocks. We will end the week with an abbreviated track and field meet. Camp is gender inclusive. Coaches and staff will work to accomodate all youth who have a desire to participate regardless of ability. Please add a note in registration if you would like one of the coaches to reach out to you to discuss how we can meet your child's needs. What to Bring: All participants should wear tennis shoes, comfortable clothing to run and play in and a water bottle or two with their name on it. We will host camp outdoors rain or shine. Drop off/Pick up Please drop off and pick up your child at the main entrance to the track and field/Warrior Field. On Monday, please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for check-in. **Register by May 20th to receive a t-shirt. No late t-shirts orders will be taken--we need to allow time to put the order together and place the order so t-shirts arrive in time for camp. This one-day certification course teaches participants to take care of themselves and others by exploring basic care of infants and children, basic first aid, emergency protocols, home safety, child behavior, developmental milestones, age-appropriate activities, professionalism, leadership and more. Participants will receive a digital copy their Babysitter’s Training Certification and Babysitter’s Handbook via email the day before from Allison Curtis, please make sure your email is up-to-date.
